I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt

of your despatch No.164 of the 2nd May, 1933, on the subject
of a site for the proposed new Naval Hospital and to inform
you that the second paragraph of the letter dated the 22nd April from the Admiralty correctly states the substance of
the agreement come to between this Government and the local
Naval Authorities.
The question of the surrender of a portion of
the site of the existing Hospital will be taken up with the
Naval Authorities as soon as it has been decided whether the
rebuilding of Wanchai market is to be proceeded with next
year.
